Welcome to the very first release party of Hacienda La Esmeralda at Sorellina.  We are so so excited to have the privilege to share these beautiful coffee's with you.  Below you will find information for 3 exquisite geisha's produced by Rachel Peterson and the HLE team.
Below you will find three lots and two roast/ship dates.  
December 1st and December 16th.  
Quantites are super limited, but one or two extra bags might become available on roast day, so keep your eyes peeled if the date and lot you want are sold out.
All coffee's are roasted to order on a Stronghold S7x and come in 100g special edition cans. 
Noria  3FB Geisha Washed
Varietal: Geisha

Region: Jaramillo

Average Coffee Tree Age in Lot: 16 years
Total ha in Production in Lot: 7ha
Noria 3 FB was harvested from the Noria lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Jaramillo farm on February 4th, 2025. After harvest, the coffee cherries were depulped, and subsequently fermented in a low temperature room for 72 hours. This microlot coffee was slowly dried on raised beds for 19 days.
Noria 3 FB has a beautiful aroma, full of jasmine, plum, clementine, and demerara sugar.
When hot we taste black tea, crisp red apple, and white plum, as the coffee cools we also taste mandarin orange and almond.

Leon 3ANB Geisha Natural

Leon 3 ANB was harvested on January 15th, 2025 from the Leon lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm. After being harvested at their ripest, the coffee cherries were fermented in an anaerobic environment for 120 hours. The coffee was then dried on raised beds for 21 days.
Leon 3 ANB has aromas of purple and white florals, pomegranate, and amoroso cherry.  
When hot we taste honeysuckle, strawberry iced cream, and an orange candy sweetness.  As the coffee cools the sweetness increases with a wild bubblegum note, accompanied by cherry blossom and amoroso cherry.

Cabana Arriba 3ANB Geisha Natural

Cabaña Arriba 3 ANB was harvested on January 14, 2025 from the highest part of the Cabaña lot in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes Farm. After being harvested at their ripest, the coffee cherries were fermented in an anaerobic environment for 120 hours. The coffee was then dried on raised beds for 20 days.
Cabaña Arriba 3 ANB smells like a tropical fruit plate, with strong pineapple, papaya, and hibiscus florals.
We taste papaya, hibiscus, cantaloupe, and cherry when hot.  As Cabana cools it sweetens into caramelized papaya, with mandarin orange essence and a perfect juicy body.
